Lovely apartment on the first floor of a building in one of the characteristic squares of the historic centre of Portoferraio, a lively village overlooking a dock with the gulf opening up on the horizon, full of clubs and restaurants

Portoferraio has been famous since the times of the ancient Romans for its unsurpassed contributions to the Grand Duchy of Medici and the exile of Emperor Napoleon. Today, its picturesque streets and historic fortresses from the 16th and 17th centuries mirror Florence, but it has existed since Roman times. The town is characterized by a charming old town with narrow streets, squares and fortifications. Places of interest include Forte Falcone and Forte Stella, which offer panoramic views of the sea. Portoferraio is also an ideal starting point for exploring the natural beauty and beaches of Elba Island. Here you will find the white pebble beaches smoothed by the sea such as Le Ghiaie (1 km) or Capo Bianco (1.5 km) or within 500 meters you can reach the unique little beach of Le Viste.
From about mid-June to about mid-September the center becomes a pedestrian area from 7:00 pm, the location of the accommodation is away from the clubs that offer music until late at night, ensuring a good night's sleep but close to all services.

It is a small four-room apartment of 80 square meters consisting of a living area with a view of the bell tower and a sofa and a dining table, a hob separated by an arch with hotplates and a washing machine, two bedrooms, one double (with separable single beds) and one twin; as well as a study with a view of the city's rooftops and Piazza della Repubblica. Bathroom with shower, bidet and window and a closet.

Important Notes:
- groups of young people under 21 years of age are not allowed
- we do not recommend the apartment to people with reduced mobility
- check-in from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm and check-out by 9:00 am; for check-in after 8:00 pm, a supplement of €50.00 must be paid
- small/medium-sized pets allowed (maximum 1 pet) with a cleaning supplement of €30
- deposit (mandatory): €200.00; half the amount will be requested in cash, the other half by credit card; refunded at the end of the stay after having viewed the state of the property (if paid in cash, it will not be returned before 3:00 pm)
- bed linen and towels: €20.00 per person (to be requested at the time of booking); not bookable on site
